• Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Oxetol 300 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

• How Oxetol Tablet works Oxetol 300 Tablet is an antiepileptic medication. It controls seizures or fits by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.

  Alcohol:

  Oxetol 300 Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.

• 
  Driving:

  Oxetol 300 Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Oxetol 300 Tablet may make you feel sleepy or dizzy, or may cause blurred vision, lack of muscle coordination, especially when starting treatment or increasing the dose. This may affect your driving ability.

• 
  Kidney:

  Oxetol 300 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Oxetol 300 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

• 
  Liver:

  Oxetol 300 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Oxetol 300 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Dose adjustment is not recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.

  Pregnancy:

  Oxetol 300 Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

  Breastfeeding:

  Oxetol 300 Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. Baby should be monitored for excessive sleepiness and weight gain.
