• Meftal-P Dispersible Tablet does not pose serious side effects and is well-tolerated by children. In case the side effects do occur, they’re likely to subside once the body adapts to the medicine. If you experience any persistent or severe side effects, consult your doctor immediately.

• How can I give Meftal-P Dispersible Tablet to my child? Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Dissolve it in a glass of water before taking it. Meftal-P Dispersible Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

• How Meftal Tablet DT works Meftal-P Dispersible Tablet is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever, pain, and inflammation (redness and swelling).

• 
  Alcohol:

  Taking Mefenamic acid with alcohol increases the risk of stomach bleeding.

• 
  Driving:

  Meftal-P Dispersible Tablet may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.

• 
  Kidney:

  Meftal-P Dispersible Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Meftal-P Dispersible Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Meftal-P Dispersible Tablet is not recommended in children with severe kidney disease.

• 
  Liver:

  Meftal-P Dispersible Tablet is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Meftal-P Dispersible Tablet is recommended. However, in case of severe liver disease, discuss with your doctor thoroughly before giving this medicine to your child.

  Pregnancy:

  Meftal-P Dispersible Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

• 
  Breastfeeding:

  Meftal-P Dispersible Tablet is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
